Dry and Cool This Week, Until Return of Rain Friday

Temperatures will be in the upper 30s and low 40s for most of the week. Rain and snowshowers could rear their ugly heads by Friday.

After this weekend's messy rain and sleet, things are actually supposed to stay dry for awhile. Hard to believe, huh?

The forecast through Thursday lists partly cloudy or clear skies with temperatures in the upper 30s or lower 40s.

Daytime temperatures today will reach the lower 30s and the nighttime should be mostly clear with lows between 13 and 17 degrees.

On Thursday night the chance of rain goes up to 50 percent, then Friday night has a 50 percent chance of snow showers.

Fox River Back On Flood Watch in Montgomery

The National Weather Service in Chicago has continued its Flood Advisory until Thursday afternoon for the Fox River at Montgomery. As of 7:45 p.m. Sunday, the stage was at 12.4 feet. The flood stage is 13 feet and the river is expected to remain near 12.5 feet through Monday evening.
