Hot temperatures and humidity will tax your body and cause heat-related illnesses. The National Weather Service recommends the following:

  • Drink plenty of fluids
  • Stay in an air-conditioned room
  • Stay out of the sun
  • Check up on relatives and neighbors
  • Never leave children and pets unattended in vehicles. Car interiors in this weather can reach dangerously high temperatures in a few minutes.
