Opler Foundation Supports Kids with Disabilities
For the third year in a row, the children who live at the Marklund Children’s Home will benefit from a generous $10,000 gift courtesy of the Edmond and Alice Opler Foundation of Oak Lawn.
Marklund, a not-for-profit organization, exists to make Everyday Life possible for individuals with profound disabilities. The Children’s Home, a skilled nursing facility for pediatrics, located in Bloomingdale, IL, serves 21 medically fragile children who require care around-the-clock.
“This gift truly shows the Opler Foundations commitment to the most vulnerable children in our community,” stated Vicki Krystof, Marklund’s Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, “We are so grateful for their continued support of the Marklund Standard of care for these individuals.”
