Kluber Architects Celebrate 25 Years in Batavia

Kluber projects include the Batavia Fire Department Station 1 and 2, LivingWell Cancer Resource Center and The Holmstad Town Center.

Kluber Architects and Engineers is celebrating its 25th anniversary this October. 

The full-service architectural and engineering design firm’s corporate headquarters is located at 10 S. Shumway Ave. in Batavia.

Since its founding in 1988, Kluber Architects and Engineers has developed an impressive portfolio of clients and accomplishments in the municipal, education, health and corporate sectors throughout northern Illinois.

“Part of our strategic plan is strengthening relationships with key clients in our market sector, allowing us to grow,” said Kluber Architects and Engineers President Mike Kluber. “Our company’s success is attributed to our ability to develop long-standing relationships with clients that share our core values. Building on those relationships and adding to those for sustainable growth has been the foundation of our success the past 25 years,” he said. 

The firm’s long list of recognizable projects include Oswego East High School for OCUSD308, Health and Life Sciences Center for Elgin Community College, Batavia Fire Department Station 1 and 2 for the City of Batavia, LivingWell Cancer Resource Center (a member of Cadence Health), The Holmstad Town Center for Covenant Retirement Communities, Kendall County Courthouse expansion for Kendall County, Cole Center Administration Office for the Fox Valley Park District, and Health Department and Community Health Center for Lake County.

Kluber Architects and Engineers has also been the recipient of numerous national awards and recognitions such as the coveted Crow Island School Citation by American School and University Magazine, 20 Best Firms to Work For by ZweigWhite and Engineering Firm of the Year by PM Engineer Magazine.

In 2012, the Kluber Architects and Engineers corporate headquarters received Energy Star certification. It was the first building to earn the status in downtown Batavia and remains the only Batavia office building with the designation.

To better serve their clients, Kluber Architects and Engineers has recently opened an office in Lake County through the successful acquisition of Daniel Robison Architects. The office is located at 4212 Old Grand Ave. in Gurnee, Ill.
