Craft Beer Trivia Contest Tonight in Batavia

Test Your Craft Beer Knowledge and Support Batavia United Way

Proceeds from Gammon Coach House’s January 24th Trivia Night Donated to Batavia Organization

It isn’t often that you can showcase your beer knowledge and win prizes. Even rarer is to do so while benefiting a local nonprofit group.

Gammon Coach House, 3 S. Batavia Ave. in Batavia, is holding a Craft Beer Trivia Contest TONIGHT, Tues., Jan. 24 starting at 8 p.m. The restaurant will donate each participant’s $2 entrance fee to Batavia United Way.

According to Ken Robertson of Gammon Coach House, the top three contestants will win their choice of prizes, which include a Gammon Coach House gift certificate, hat or glassware. Individual competitors are welcomed to participate; this is not a team competition.

“Gammon Coach House has been a wonderful supporter of both Batavia United Way and the greater community since they opened last summer,” says Jody Haltenhof, executive director of Batavia United Way. “This contest is fun for any beer lover, plays to the restaurant’s strengths, plus benefits a nonprofit group.

“We’re pleased to be the beneficiary of this event as every dollar raised for a nonprofit is important, especially when it can be used by various organizations to directly benefit those in need within our local community.”

For more information about the event, contact Gammon Coach House at 630-482-3663 or email them at info@gammoncoachhouse.com.
