Charm Thai is Leaving Batavia: What Should Replace It?
Charm Thai in Batavia will close by the end of the week and relocate in St. Charles, according to media reports. What do you think should go here?
Batavia will soon have one fewer Thai restaurant.
Charm Thai, located at 227 W. Wilson St. in downtown Batavia, will close its doors this week, the Kane County Chronicle reports. Manager Greg Panphet cites slow business after being in operation for about a year.
Panphet plans to open in about two months in a location on Rt. 64 near downtown St. Charles, the Chronicle's story said.

Charm Thai was formerly the site of . There are still two other Thai restaurants in the downtown area—, 4 N. Batavia Ave., and , 102 N. River St.
