Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Kane & Kendall Counties is seeking sponsors and bowlers for their 31st Annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake bowling event. Proceeds from the bowling parties will be used to fund one-to-one mentoring for area children.

The bowling parties include free bowling, food and beverages, and are the organization’s way of saying thank you to those who raise a minimum of $100 each. Friends, co-workers, church groups, or families make up the 5-member teams. Teams that go the extra mile and collect $1,000 support one child in one match for a year.  In addition, there are three grand prizes for the top money-raisers, including a 32” LCD TV, a$200 Meijer’s Gift Card and a $100 BP Gift Card.

“We thank our participants for their fundraising help by providing them one game of bowling, food, and prizes,” states Stephanie Lilly Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters. “It’s not about bowling and scores don’t matter - it’s about kids.”
