Taste of Batavia Block Party Will Feature Throwback to the '50s

The Sept. 1 party in Batavia has new features and venues this year.

Batavia's Block Party and Taste of Batavia will expand this year with events on River Street and the Riverwalk—and will feature the Classic Car Show, a pie bake-off and additional contests and competitions, all with a '50s theme, organizers announced this week.

The festivities will take place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1.
