The release date is still months away, but producers of the Superman film Man of Steel shot around Kane and Kendall County in the summer of 2011 have released another trailer hyping the film.
Remember Russell Crowe's August 2011 visit to the Batavia Public Library, specifically the 10 South Coffee House? Those were the good old days. Now you can take a glimpse of the movie as well as the local scenery that made the visit possible.
In this 2:33 minute clip you might see a couple local spots used for the filming and nearly all of the star-studded cast who were also seen in the area, including Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams.
According to film site IMDb.com, the estimated budget for the movie is $225 million. It is set to be released June 14. No official running time has been announced yet, but the movie will likely be shown in 2D, 3D and IMAX formats.
The film's first trailer was released in July.
