Sensible Threadz "Meet the Artisans" Open House

 

Sensible Threadz, a Discount Retail Store, located at 208 S. Kirk Road in St. Charles, is hosting an Open House to introduce the Creations of their Local Artisans. The Event will take place Wednesday, June 29th from 7:00p.m.-8:30 p.m. and will feature many of the hand-made items the store offers its’ customers. In addition, Gabriella Filippi, a Local Inspirational Author will be present to hand-sign her latest books, "Celebrate Your Seasons" and "Along the Way". 

This will give the public an opportunity to introduce themselves to the actual creators of these items. This will be an adult only event offering refreshments, raffles, prizes, and discounts this evening only.

The store also promotes a charitable organization as an ongoing effort and has since promoted: Lazarus House, in St. Charles, Northern IL Food Bank, Conley Outreach, in Elburn, The Life Center in Aurora, and most recently The InterFaith Food Pantry in Batavia.

Sensible Threadz offers New, Name-brand clothing at Wholesale Prices for infant through junior girl sizes, along with new, high-end name-brand bedding & bath items.

The Store also carries handmade items by local artisans. The items include: hair accessories and purses for girls and teens, educational toys, organic soaps, one-of-a kind jewelry for moms and teens, greeting cards, decorative pillows and runners, inspirational items.

 

We also purchase and resell children’s and junior girls, gently used high-end jeans, sweaters, sweatshirts, jean skirts, shirts and specialty items such as communion and prom dresses. We either pay CA$H or give a double in-store credit for all items. Some Name brands we accept for resale are high-end proprietary brands such as: “Hanna Andersson”, “Gap”, “Gymboree”, “Justice”, “Childrens Place”, for the children, and “Abercrombie & Fitch”, “Hollister”, “Express”, “Banana Republic”, “Pac Sun” “American Eagle”, “Ed Hardy”, “Victoria Secret-Pink Line”, and many others for the junior girls.
