Mooseheart Holiday Light Festival

Mooseheart, a child residential facility and school for children in need, will host a five-week Holiday Light Festival on its scenic campus in Batavia, IL. The Holiday Lights at Mooseheart will encompass more than 80 displays over a 1.8-mile drive-through course — which makes it one of the largest and most spectacular holiday displays anywhere in suburban Chicago.

Santa makes a guest appearance

Santa will be at Mooseheart's Fieldhouse on December 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19. This is only available to those families who have paid for and toured the Holiday Lights Show that same evening (the Fieldhouse is at the end of the show). Hot chocolate, coffee and Christmas cookies will also be available.

Experience the Holiday Lights at Mooseheart every night beginning Friday, November 26 through Saturday, January 1, from 6 – 10 p.m. For most viewers, the overall experience can be enhanced with 3-D glasses, which will be available for $3 at the campus' front gate.

Entry for the Holiday Lights Show is $10 per car – cash only. A discount coupon is available on the Web site for select nights. For bus rates, please contact Mooseheart at (630) 906-3601. All proceeds will be directed to Mooseheart's operating budget and provide for the high quality residential care and academic/vocational training that the children need. This includes food, clothing, shelter, books, computers and recreational activities.
