Fox Valley Concert Band Pesents "Conductor Highlights" on Mother's Day at Norris Center

Music lovers – with or without Mom in tow – will enjoy “Conductor Highlights,” presented by Fox Valley Concert Band at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 8 at the beautiful Norris Cultural Arts Center, 1040 Dunham Road.

Concertgoers will enjoy the added bonus of the premier performance of “March 1st,” composed by band member Kent Nicholson. As always, admission is free.

Now in its 28th season, Fox Valley Concert Band is the area’s leading community wind ensemble, and has grown to a membership of more than 80 musicians, representing nearly 30 communities from throughout northern Illinois. Its wide-ranging repertoire includes band and wind ensemble classics, as well as contemporary works.
