Weather Alert: Wind Chill Advisory Until 10 AM Friday

The National Weather Service-Chicago has a winter weather advisory in place. Here's the latest, plus the full weekend forecast.

It's getting darned cold, so be careful out there.

Yes, just days after record-high temperatures and a Flood Watch in the Tri-Cities, we've got a wind-chill advisory in place from midnight Thursday until 10 a.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service-Chicago.

The wind chill values will get down and get funky—to about 15 to 25 degrees below zero overnight.

The dangers, of course, are frostbite and hypothermia.

"IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS ... MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND
GLOVES," the NWS-C says in its usual all-caps.
