REPORT: Mooseheart Adult Eagles Gone For Good?

The parents' baby eagles appear to be doing well at a facility in Barrington.

The adult eagles that rejected their babies at Mooseheart might not be in the area anymore.

The Kane County Chronicle spoke to Mooseheart Spokesperson Darryl Mellema, who said the adult eagles haven't been spotted near the nest recently.

Last week we reported that the babies had to be taken in by Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation because they weren't being fed by the parents.

The babies in their nest during some bad storms last month. The eaglets were , but the adult eagles wouldn't go inside to feed their offspring.
