Community Corner

Wasco Baseball registration is now OPEN!

nline registration is now open for Wasco Baseball's Spring 2014 season! Even though Spring feels like an eternity from now, we’ve been busy planning for the upcoming season.   See below for more information.

The objective of Wasco Baseball is to implant firmly in the boys and girls of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority, within the environment of the sports program provided.  We believe in positive coaching and sports parenting strategies to provide a nurturing environment, rich with sportsmanship and healthy recreational competition.

We are a 100% volunteer-led organization committed to providing the best baseball experience for our community youth.  We provide a positive, structured, educational baseball experience for approximately 2,200 boys and girls aged 5 to 17 years during two seasons per year (Spring/Summer and Fall).  Our league has no residency requirements so players are welcome regardless of where you live.

No matter the age of your growing ball player, Wasco Baseball has an appropriate level for you.  Our recreational baseball program aims for players to learn fundamentals, develop a love for the game, and most importantly, have fun!

Hat, jersey, socks, and baseball pants are included in the registration fee.  Because safety is our highest priority, we provide quality equipment such as batting helmets and catchers gear for each team.

Managers & Coaches Needed
We’re always looking for volunteer managers and assistant coaches, especially in the younger leagues, such as Pee Wee (age 5-6) and Instructional (age 7-8).

So if you’ve never signed up to coach, please consider it.  If you’ve been an assistant coach, why don’t you step up and become a manager this season?  For more information, go tohttp://www.wascobaseball.com/News.asp?org=wascobaseball.com#298688.

If you’re interested in volunteering or learning more, please contact, the appropriate League Commissioner.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
