Learn more at the Oct. 8 Batavia Women in Business luncheon. Bring hats, coats, and mittens for the Batavia Clothes Closet, too.

Batavia, Ill. – October 1, 2013 –
Batavia Women in Business are getting personal at their upcoming luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The guest speaker is Dr. Carolyn Mills, an obstetrics/gynecology doctor on staff with Dreyer Medical Clinic in St. Charles and North Aurora.

The gathering takes place at Mill Creek Golf Club, 39W525 Herrington Drive in Geneva and begins at 11:30 a.m. Pre-registration for the luncheon, which costs $25 for members and $30 for non-members and guests, is necessary by Sunday, Oct. 6. Women interested in attending can contact Batavia Chamber online at www.bataviachamber.org/programs or call 630-879-7134 to register.

Mills will present “What’s Happening with my Body?” to the group. Batavia Women in Business request that only women attend this luncheon to allow a candid discussion. According to Mills, she will discuss the most common questions and complaints of women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions concerning how they feel physically, why, and what treatment options are available.

Donate Coats, Hats, and Mittens

The group will also collect coats, snowsuits, hats, and mittens to donate to the Batavia Clothes Closet. Children through adult sizes are welcome, but please make certain all previously worn items are clean and in good shape.

As a reminder, businesses may share their marketing information and promotional items on a designated marketing table. With sponsored raffles worth at least $30, the business can introduce it and their business to the entire audience.
