Fireworks Committee Celebrates Batavia's 180th Birthday on New Year's Eve

FIREWORKS COMMITTEE CELEBRATES BATAVIA’S 180TH BIRTHDAY ON NEW YEAR’S EVE

WHAT:  Mini fireworks show, luminaria display, and a performance by the Batavia Community Band

WHERE: On the Riverwalk in downtown Batavia

WHEN:  Tuesday evening, December 31, from 9:00-9:30pm

WHY:  To kick off Batavia’s 180th birthday and the 45th birthday of the Batavia Park District, and to ring in the New Year with the entire Batavia community

HOW:  Sales of hot chocolate, noisemakers and glow sticks, as well as a 50/50 raffle and donations will help defray costs for this event
