Calling all horse lovers

Casey's Safe Haven, a holistic equine rescue located in Elburn, is in desperate need of funding. Casey's relies solely on private donations for funding and when enough donations don't come in, they can't meet their expenses. Casey's rescues horses, ponies, donkeys and mules in need. They open their doors to equines in desperate need of help; many who arrive with serious medical conditions and high veterinary expenses. Many of the rescued animals at Casey's would not have been accepted at other rescues due to poor health, high vet bills and conditions making these equines "unadoptable". The ponies of Casey's, retired after 30+ years of "working the wheel", giving rides to kids, were discarded when they could no longer perform the work expected of them. These ponies finally, at 37 years old, are living their lives with dignity, respect and love. There are a great deal of costs in running an Equine rescue, especially a rescue that takes in animals which other rescues would not take. Please help the Angels of Casey's  continue to help the animals who so need their help. Donations can be made online, through our secure Paypal account, or by check and mailed to Casey's Safe Haven, PO Box 103, Elburn, IL 60119.
