Batavia residents oppose industrial park at Kirk & WInd Energy Pass

Concerned Batavia residents have formed a watchdog citizens group “Keep Batavia Neighborhoods” to oppose the rezoning possibility at Kirk Rd. and Wind Energy Pass in Batavia.  The group has banded together to present new information to Batavia city hall that makes the building of a huge 55 acre industrial park (large warehouses with 100+ semi-truck bays) at this intersection a real threat to Batavia’s future, regardless of whether you live on the east side or west side of Batavia.    Our next step is to present these findings to Batavia city government on July 29 at 7:30 pm.  For more info about this issue, where it stands with Batavia city council, or  attending the July 29th meeting to show your support in opposition of the industrial park, visit www.KeepBataviaNeighborhoods.com.  Join this effort to keep Batavia an attractive neighborhood…and not warehouses.
