BATAVIA COVENANT CHURCH AND THE HOLMSTAD TEAM TO HOST FAMILY JULY 4 CELEBRATION

From its vantage just across the street from the city of Batavia’s July 4 Sky Concert in Engstrom Park, Batavia Covenant Church will join The Holmstad, a faith-based, not-for-profit, continuing care retirement community operated by Covenant Retirement Communities, in sponsoring Fourth of July pre-fireworks festivities starting at 6:30 p.m., July 4, on the church grounds at 1314 Main St., Batavia.

Before enjoying the Sky Concert from the church’s lawn, kids can have high-flying fun in several bounce houses. Guests will be treated to s’mores — the traditional summertime goodie. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and settle back to enjoy one of the Fox Valley's premier Independence Day fireworks displays.

“This is the first year we’ve partnered with Batavia Covenant Church for this holiday celebration,” says Holmstad Executive Director Josh Anderson. “As a ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church, we’re dedicated to building an engaged community by connecting people and creating friendships. This is a great way to do that.”
