Come see the beauty of the evening woods in winter at Dick Young Forest Preserve this Friday, Jan. 25, from 5-6 p.m.

Forest Preserve District of Kane County Naturalist Barb McKittrick will lead a group through the popular Batavia preserve on this special, night hike. The moon will light
the way as the group watches for nocturnal creatures. Participants will learn about animal adaptations for cold and snow, and how wildlife survives the season.

Are ages are welcome to this free, family program.  Call 847-741-8350 or e-mail programs@kaneforest.com to register.  Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult. Advance registration is required.
