Teen Writing Workshop Tonight at Batavia Library

High school students are invited to a teen writing workshop at the Batavia Public Library. Teens will participate in a few writing exercises and then share, if they choose, what they've written with other participants. The Library's Young Adult librarian Christine Edison facilitates the workshop. Registration is not required. The Batavia Public Library opened its latest facility in 2002. The library includes an extensive collection of books and media and offers programming for residents throughout the year.

Various services inside the 54,000-square foot library include computers with Internet, meeting rooms, exam proctoring, notary public, voter registration, a self-service fax machine (credit card required), home delivery, a print magnifier, a large print collection, scooter, TDD/TYY and a talking book center, according to the library's website.
