Chef Alain Roby and his wife Esther are happy to announce their partnership with Reach for the Moon, a Batavia-based charity focused on helping families in crisis and need with housing, food, medical care and clothing.

The All Chocolate Kitchen will serve as a drop-off center for wrapped items such as toys, jackets, mittens, hats, blankets and gift cards. The special kick-off celebration for this holiday initiative will be today, Sunday, Nov. 20 between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the shop. During this kick-off, the All Chocolate Kitchen will offer guests who buy a gelato, with half-off their second one!

As if his chocolate sweets and gelato weren't enough, Chef Roby has created an amazing structure to further entice clientele to donate to this worthy cause and officially inaugurate the holiday season. He has created an 18 foot, 750-lb. chocolate Christmas tree that is decorated with 100 lbs. of blown-sugar ornaments. Donated items can be placed under the tree until Dec. 23.
