DESCRIPTION:The Albright Theatre proudly presents &ldquo\;Fuddy Meers&rdq
uo\; by David Lindsay-Abaire. TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF YOUR
LIFE&hellip\;AGAIN.There is no forgetting the second Main-Stage product
ion of The Albright's 39th season: &ldquo\;Fuddy Meers&rdquo\; by David
Lindsay-Abaire. Claire has a rare form of amnesia that erases her memory
when she sleeps\, leaving her husband to explain her condition over and
  over again. But then\, a limping\, lisping\, half-blind\, half-deaf man
appears and claims to be her brother\, there to save her. Claire is hus
tled off to the home of her mother\, a recent stroke victim whose speech
has been reduced to utter gibberish. To complicate matters further\, a
 dimwitted thug with a foul-mouthed hand puppet\, Claire&rsquo\;s husband
\, her perpetually stoned son\, and a claustrophobic female cop are thro
wn into the mix. Each twist brings Claire closer to discovering her past
\, while surrounded by alarmingly bizarre characters.&ldquo\;Imagine if
you woke up every morning and had no clue who you were or where you are.
You have been living this way for years\, but suddenly something change
 s and you don&rsquo\;t know why. This is &lsquo\;Fuddy Meers&rsquo\;. I
 absolutely love this show. It is plain crazy and a ton of fun\,&rdquo\;
remarks Duerdoth. Erin Cauley of St. Charles is Claire\, the confused am
nesiac with a sunny disposition. She is whisked away to her mother&rsquo
\;s country home (Gertie - played by Amy Setencich of Batavia) by the li
sping\, Limping Man (Jon Witt of Naperville). Here\, they meet the Limpi
ng Man&rsquo\;s hand puppet wielding sidekick\, Millet (Alexander Seymou
r of Aurora). Claire&rsquo\;s husband\, Richard (Scott Rolf of Geneva) a
nd her son\, Kenny (Philip J. Roth IV of Streamwood) are on a mission to
find her when they are joined by Heidi\, the &ldquo\;lady cop&rdquo\; (
Emily Champlin of Naperville). This nutty cast is led by Co-directors Kr
isten Duerdoth of Geneva and Jennifer Ring of Batavia\, and are supporte
d by Production Assistant\, Jennifer Richardson of Batavia. This partners
hip of Co-directors has been a successful one: &ldquo\;We&rsquo\;ve got
a good cast who come to each rehearsal ready to work hard having fun wit
h these characters and their bizarre situations. My Co-director and I wo
rk really well together which just adds to the experience\,&rdquo\; says
Ring. Duerdoth agrees: &ldquo\;I think we complement each other very we
ll. Together\, we have assembled a stellar cast and I love working with
all of them. They are brilliant and each of them has brought something w
onderful to the table &ndash\; I haven&rsquo\;t laughed this hard in a l
ong time. This is definitely a show you don&rsquo\;t want to miss!&rdquo
