 ay season off right at the Celebration of Lights Festival in Batavia\, a
  family-oriented event featuring a myriad of sparkling lights\, festive 
 decorations and a visit from Santa.\nFamilies will have the opportunity 
 to enjoy a variety of entertainment on Sunday\, November 25 from 5:30 to
  7 p.m. at the Batavia Riverwalk. \nBatavia business owner Craig Foltos 
 will play the master of ceremonies until Santa arrives at 6 p.m. Mayor J
 eff Schielke will greet Santa and together they will light the community
  Christmas tree. After the tree lighting\, Santa&rsquo\;s Warming House 
 (located at the Peg Bond Center) will open. Children up to age 10 who vi
 sit with Santa will receive a special gift while supplies last.\nLooking
  for something to do before the Festival? Check out the new and improved
  River Street!\nAs of early November 2012\, River Street is now open to 
 vehicular\, bicycle and pedestrian traffic. The public is invited to joi
 n city officials at 4 p.m. today\, Nov. 25 on River and State streets fo
 r a ribbon-cutting ceremony.\nGuests are then encouraged to dine downtow
