Patch wants to know: what’s your favorite greenhouse or nursery in the Tri Cities area? We’ve gathered the names and addresses of all the places to get your green thumb on in Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles.
You have a couple ways to make your favorite known. The most important ones are to 1) Vote for the top greenhouse or nursery in the poll below and 2) Rate your favorite place in our Patch directory listings. Click on the name of the business below and that will take you right to the directory listing.
As of March 19, here is exactly how the winners are determined:
Only the top 3 finishers will receive points for 1) Poll votes and 2) Ratings. Business will receive two separate sets of points for their rankings. The business that receives the most votes will get 10 points, second place gets 8 points and third 6 points. The same goes for the rankings— first place 10 points, second place 8 points, third place 6 points.
Those points are then combined to find the Patch Readers' Choice picks! Leaving comments on this story and reviewing your business will also help its chances.
A little confusing? Just know that you have to show the most love on this site for your favorite greenhouse or nursery, and hopefully they will be honored!
The voting continues until noon Friday, March 23. At that time, we'll count up the points and name the top three winners.

The Natural Garden, should not be in this poll as their retail area is gone now, and most customers have been "chased" away! Pity too, as they were one of my favorites!!
