Readers' Choice 2012: Where's Your Favorite Bank?

How do you pick a bank? Proximity? Service? Fees? If you've found one you like, let us know, and let us know why, for our Patch 2012 Readers' Choice Awards.

The banking industry has gone through some tough times in recent years—which is all the more reason to find one you can count on, and one you trust.

And if you've found a bank or banker that's right for you, here's a chance to let the world know.

Vote for your favorite bank in Geneva, Batavia or St. Charles for the Patch 2012 Readers' Choice Award in our Patch poll.

Nominations were accepted on Geneva, Batavia and St. Charles Patch through July 9.

Winners in all Readers' Choice categories will be announced on Aug. 24.

The poll will open to accept votes from registered Patch users starting on July 23 and close at 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 17.

The State Bank of Geneva. They've been here for 107 years and know their community. It's the bank where everyone knows your name!

The State Bank of Geneva. All the other banks in town told me no but State Bank helped me out when I needed it. Now my business is thriving and I owe a great deal of it to The State Bank of Geneva and their belief in me.

It's STC Capital in St. Charles when it comes to putting in my two cents. They bring a fresh approach to the stale world of banking. Extemely supportive and cooperative with their business customers in finding or providing solutions. Friendly with their personal banking customers. They provide the model for what banking should be.
