We really love Ed's Auto Repair, Inc at 29 South 8th St in Geneva--630-232-6560. We have recommended this shop to several people and all have been pleased. Ed and Nate are through, honest and fair in their pricing. We started with them after we got a huge estimate for repairs from another shop and I then asked for advice from people I worked with. The story that sold me on Ed's was one from a friend who left his car with Ed, left on vacation and told him "do what you need to do- and I will pay for it when I get back. " And that was from a man who was very cautious in his dealings with everyone. When Ed saw our car he pointed out the many things that the other shop wanted to do that just weren't needed yet and what was really needed. Saved us several hundred dollars. We have been taking all of our vechicles to them since 2001 And--both Ed and Nate are just as honest with women customers--unlike other shops.

They will give you a list of things that should be done to your car, but will also let you know which items are priority and which can wait awhile. Their prices, including labor are very fair, and they'll pick you up and drop you off if you live in the area. We recommend them highly!

Prestige Import in St. Charles. They saved me $1000 on the computer panel that runs the heat in my car. They were willing to send it off to have it fixed, with a guarantee, when Toyota said they could only replace. Prestige didn't even make most of the money on fixing my car because the company we sent it to, did but they were still willing to take out and reinstall for a minimal cost. Spent about $500 in all instead of over a $1000.
