Possible Counterfeit $100 Bill Passed at Pizza Place
The suspect gets $84 change but doesn't come back for the pizza.
Batavia police reports included a curious incident regarding a possible counterfeit bill.
Batavia police reported to Rosati’s Pizza, 334 E. Wilson St., after a subject who ordered a pizza paid with a $100 bill and was given $84 back in change.
The subject never returned to pick up the pizza, and “it was suspected the bill was counterfeit,” reports said.
The bill was entered into custody.

There is an inexpensive marker that is used for detecting counterfeit money. Would have cheaper than $84.
