Illinois House Honors Fallen North Aurora Soldier

Chris Patterson's family was in Springfield this week as a resolution for him was presented. Patterson gave the ultimate sacrifice on Jan. 6 this year in Afghanistan.

 

The Illinois House rose to their feet this week to recognize a 20 year-old-North Aurora man who did so much for classmates, colleagues and country.

The House unanimously adopted a resolution honoring the life, service and sacrifice of Spc. Christopher Patterson. On Jan. 6, Patterson and three other soldiers died when a roadside bomb went off underneath his vehicle. He was 20.
