Nice artistic display. The falling leaves hit me. I was out for a walk yesterday and the sidewalk was like a fall day filled with leaves. Not just a few, I was shuffling through enough to start raking and bagging. It's funny how the mind recognizes both the common -I've got to get my rake out - to the bizarre - Holy Cannoli, It's July not October.

The one benefit to a drought is construction. My subdivision is going through complete rebuilding of the streets, and the project appears to be ahead of schedule. If we had weather like the last two summers, with regular showers and bouts of severe weather, the project would be several weeks behind..

Of course, it would be far less dusty. I get my car washed, and within a couple of days, it's covered in a layer of dust, again.

I don't like the drought. We have to check the garden and plantings a few times a day to keep them growing. But I love your drawing and it certainly states what has been happening the last few weeks. Thanks for sharing.
