David A. Schele, 61, of Sugar Grove, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013. He was born February 10, 1952 in Aurora, Illinois.
David was a 1970 graduate of West Aurora High School. He owned and operated Close Encounters Body Shop in North Aurora for 30 years.
Survivors include his son, David A. Schele of Sugar Grove; his mother, Elaine Schele; three brothers, Gary (Kathy) of Beloit, WI, Robert of Valparaiso, IN and Brian (Cindy) of Sandwich; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Schele in 2001.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 at The Daleiden Mortuary at 1 p.m. Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Daleiden Mortuary, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Dave was a good friend, in high school we hung out alot after i joined the Marines we grew apart, but when i had a accident in 1988 he helped me with my car when i couldn't afford the repairs. Just like Brian said he helped without thinking how am i going to get it back.
