Police Find 2 Men With Stab Wounds in Batavia Home on Sunday

The men, ages 19 and 34, suffered multiple stabs wounds. Here's what happened.

UPDATE: A Batavia woman has been charged in connection to this incident. A sister of the woman has also come forward with an account of what happened.

Two men were found stabbed in a home on Batavia's west side Sunday morning, police said.

Officers were called to the first block of North Van Nortwick Avenue at 2:34 a.m., according to Batavia Police. Upon arriving, officers found two men, ages 19 and 34, with multiple stab wounds.

"Both victims were conscious at the scene and transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries," a Batavia Police statement said.

Police interviewed a person of interest on Sunday afternoon. No charges have been filed at this time and the investigation continues.

"Batavia Police are advising that this investigation is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public," the statement said.

4 Batavia Stabbings in 2012

This is the fourth reported stabbing incident in Batavia this year. All of the stabbings took place just over a six-month period.
