Batavia Residents Invited to Give Feedback For Superintendent Search
An open forum is scheduled for this Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. There's also an online survey available.
The Batavia School Board has contracted with School Exec Connect, a superintendent search firm, to assist in finding a replacement for Dr. Jack Barshinger, who is retiring at the end of the current school year.
The Board of Education looks forward to community contributions to the search process and believes this input will help them make the best possible choice for the next superintendent.
Community members are invited to an Open Community Forum on Tuesday, September 18 at 7:00 pm in the Rosalie Jones Administration Center Board Room, located at 335 W. Wilson Street in Batavia.
The purpose of this forum is to:
- Determine the strengths and challenges of our school district and;
- Determine the qualities and characteristics that the next superintendent should possess to be successful in our community
In addition to the open forum, community members are also invited to provide confidential feedback via an online Community Survey, which will available for input through September 21.
